Buzz Rickson’s SS24

Buzz Rickson’s SS24

The folks at Buzz Rickson’s are masters when it comes to reproducing vintage military gear to the highest level of quality imaginable. Everything from the fabric, hardware and methods of construction are produced to be period correct and the resulting garments feel like something from another time altogether. We brought back some of the best-selling styles from Buzz Rickson’s for the Spring, such as the chambray work shirt and original spec chinos, but we also received some new styles as well. One such style is the WWII denim jacket which is a type I jacket with a single patch pocket, pleated front and buckle back adjustment crafted from extra heavyweight white back blue selvedge denim which ages beautifully. We also have the matching denim jeans, both of which are historically noteworthy for being produced under material-control restrictions imposed by the US government during WWII. For example, the number of buttons on the jacket were reduced to 4 rather than 5 and the pocket flap was removed. Additionally, we received the 1942 model military chinos, which feature a high rise, wide leg silhouette, hefty cotton twill fabric and custom manufactured metal US Army buttons.
